About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and driven Deputy Service Manager to join our team in Croydon. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in leading the service in a trauma-informed and inclusive manner, working closely with the Service Manager to ensure high-quality care and compliance with contract and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality support, leadership, and line management to staff, offering guidance, support, and advice as needed.
  • Work closely with the Service Manager to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and compliance with contract and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the service in a trauma-informed and inclusive manner, promoting a culture of respect and dignity for all residents.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service outcomes and achieve key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and partnership working.
Requirements
  • Understanding and/or experience of working with people of complex backgrounds, ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse, and challenging behaviors.
  • Experience of working with and engaging with diverse groups of people from varying backgrounds.
  • IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to navigate and learn new case management systems and other types of organizational software.
  • Ability to promote the service and provide outreach-based provision, with an ability to liaise and work effectively in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Housing Management, including voids and evictions.
