Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and management to staff, ensuring they have the necessary guidance, support, and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Support the Service Manager in the day-to-day operational delivery of the service, working directly with the team, residents, and stakeholders to provide a holistic service that meets the needs of our residents.
- Embed a culture of learning, development, reflection, and evaluation in a psychologically informed environment, promoting the well-being and empowerment of our residents.
- Work proactively with the Service Manager to ensure the service and team meet and exceed Key Performance Indicators, and work in line with professional codes of conduct.
- Empower residents to make decisions and take control over their lives, creating an enabling environment that promotes independence and self-advocacy.
- Be part of the operational on-call rota, providing out-of-hours support across the operations directorate.
- Experience of working in residential care and support services, with a strong understanding of the needs of vulnerable adults.
- Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies, including safeguarding and GDPR.
