Mechanical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in Kent. As a Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for dismantling and reassembling mechanical assemblies, inspecting equipment, and identifying faulty components. You will also ensure quality, environmental, and health and safety procedures are adhered to.
About the Role:
This is a permanent position that requires flexibility on working location, with accommodation provided by RSE. Some of your key duties include carrying out preventative maintenance work on plant and equipment, assisting other disciplines when required, and ensuring safe use of hand tools, machinery, and other equipment. You will also be responsible for ensuring equipment is maintained to a high and safe standard.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a mechanical understanding and knowledge of Hydraulic, Pneumatic, and Hydrostatic systems. You should also have the ability to understand and use schematics and maintenance drawings to analyse, assess, and find faults within these systems. Additionally, you will need to be organised and able to plan a sequence of events, which are required to remove and reinstall components within a working system. You must also be capable of self-checking work and possessing high personal standards with respect to Environment, Quality, and Health & Safety. A full UK driving licence is also required.
