Financial Accountant Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Financial Accountant Specialist to join our team in Tamworth. As a key member of the accounting department, you will be responsible for overseeing all accountancy functions and reporting directly to the Managing Director.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with excellent knowledge of financial reports and systems. They will also be required to produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment and possess strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate financial statements, balance sheets, and other financial documentation.
- Analyze the company's financial performance based on financial records.
- Conduct regular financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Evaluate and monitor financial information systems to improve efficiency.
- Present complex financial data to senior management and provide recommendations.
- Oversee the accounts department and ensure ongoing maintenance of accurate records.
- Reconcile discrepancies and complete journals as required.
- Audit financial transactions to identify errors or discrepancies.
- Produce trial balance reports to support financial decision-making.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Management Accounting role.
- CIMA qualified or equivalent.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum.
