Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Financial Accountant to join our team at Transaction Recruitment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic service business operating globally, with a focus on delivering exceptional results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare month-end accounts, ensuring they are accurate and timely.
  • Process month-end journals, streamlining financial operations.
  • Conduct balance sheet reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • Perform variance analysis, driving business improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, minimizing risk and exposure.
  • Develop cash forecasting models, informing business decisions.
  • Support the preparation of Year-end audit files, maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Undertake other ad-hoc tasks as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Essential Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • A proactive approach, with a focus on continuous learning and improvement.
Salary and Benefits
