Main Purpose of the Job

The Sales Support team plays a crucial role in the sales and onboarding journey, supporting the Commercial Teams, Partnership Teams, and Account Management Teams with sales cycle support. The team is disciplined, highly trained, and skilled in onboarding, pre-underwriting, go-live, and general sales support inquiries.

Sales Support Executive Responsibilities

  1. Be proficient in Microsoft Office software
  2. Process and manage CRM applications, perform initial assessments, onboard, and quality check for underwriting
  3. Relay requests between Underwriters and Partners/Merchants professionally
  4. Ensure documents align with Merchant Acceptance Policies, demonstrating attention to detail
  5. Update Underwriters rapidly to support quick turnaround times
  6. Regularly check CRM Platform queues and ensure that Sales/Partners/Account Managers are actively contacting Partner/Merchants so applications go live quickly
  7. Suggest process improvements to enhance team adaptability
  8. Attend pipeline and underwriting company calls, offering feedback to support onboarding
  9. Collaborate with internal teams on Boarding/Billing processes as needed
  10. Handle assigned action tickets in Zendesk, ensuring timely completion within SLAs
  11. Build and maintain strong relationships, representing the Trust Payments brand
  12. Process Requests for Change forms (RFCs) for Merchants/Partners within SLA and follow up on outcomes
  13. Provide regular reports on achievements and sharing feedback to management
  14. Attend meetings with Support team to review priorities and training needs

Qualifications and Skills

  1. Prepared for some ad hoc travel between Trust Payments locations
  2. Dedicated and driven self-starter with professional office environment experience
  3. Payments experience, not essential but preferred
  4. Willingness to learn and engage to meet objectives
  5. High levels of focus and attention to detail
  6. Team player with strong written and verbal communication
  7. Experience of Zendesk and CRMs, not essential but preferred
  8. Good Proficiency in written and spoken English (other languages considered an asset)
