Fleet Controller Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Controller to join our team at Dawson Group PLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient allocation of company assets to live orders and signed contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate company assets to live orders and signed contracts, ensuring timely fulfilment on a weekly basis.
  • Provide sales support by keeping the sales team updated on unit availability and lead times.
  • Analyze utilization trends and provide recommendations to the Managing Director for asset manufacturing.
  • Maintain accurate and current vehicle tracking records.
  • Coordinate with Dawson Group's European subsidiaries to manage and update asset build schedules.
  • Place orders with body builders and refrigeration manufacturers, ensuring invoices and values are correct.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in fleet management software and systems.
  • Previous experience in fleet management, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
