About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ergonomist to join our team in Broughton, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on workplace design and human performance.

This is a unique chance to work in a dynamic environment, influencing the development of new manufacturing tooling and processes while ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform ergonomics work analysis of Assembly/Installation activities and provide recommendations for improvement.
  2. Support the development of ergonomics action plans aligned with the industrial strategy and future evolutions.
  3. Contribute to the definition of specifications, call for tenders, and subcontractor piloting for ergonomics-related outsourced work packages.
  4. Ensure that jigs and machine suppliers consider ergonomics in their designs.
  5. Develop solutions to reduce risks and hazards using technical, organisational, and training approaches.
  6. Stay up-to-date with international regulatory and scientific developments to inform guidance and deployment.
  7. Maintain an effective Ergonomics Tactical Implementation plan for the location.
  8. Communicate effectively with local Health and Safety representatives on ergonomic matters.
  9. Support specific ergonomic actions/task forces on other transnational locations as needed.

Requirements:

  1. Degree-level education in Ergonomics/Human Factors from an accredited CIEHF higher education body.
  2. Accredited Registered Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (CIEHF) or equivalent.

Estimated Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
