Lantra is a leading awarding body for land-based industries, and we are seeking a strategic operations director to join our team.

As Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational excellence, and industry engagement. This role requires close collaboration with the Board of Trustees and the Management Team to champion Lantra's charitable mission and uphold its reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As Lantra's external ambassador and spokesperson, you will position the organisation as a key player in informing and influencing national and regional policymakers on the future skills needs of land-based and environmental industries.
  • Provide leadership, direction, and support to the business, fostering a culture of high-performance and personal accountability across a dedicated team of over 140 employees.
  • Forging strong relationships with employers and industry bodies to drive growth and success.
  • Raising Lantra's profile and influence with policymakers to secure public and private funding for positive skills interventions.

About You:

We are looking for a dedicated leader who can inspire the organisation and its industry partners, bringing passion and resolve to continue Lantra's strong industry successes. The ideal candidate should be engaging, open, and excel in fostering and developing relationships.

A competitive salary of £125-135k + performance-related bonus awaits the successful candidate. Based in Warwickshire, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the growth and development of Lantra.
