About the Role

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate SEND teacher to join our team in a school in Morden. As a SEND teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable learners, providing them with the support and guidance they need to succeed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lesson Planning: Develop and implement engaging and holistic lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEND.
  • Teaching and Mentoring: Provide individualized teaching and mentoring to students, focusing on their academic, social, and emotional development.
  • Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and report on student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness to inform future instruction.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Hold a professional teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE, B.Ed, PTLLS, DTLLS, CELTA) and have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
  • Experience: Have experience working with students with Additional Educational Needs, specifically SEMH, and be familiar with safeguarding processes.
  • Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and support staff.
