Teaching Assistant

About the Role:
As a Graduate Behaviour Mentor at Academics Ltd, you will play a vital role in increasing engagement, attainment, and life chances of vulnerable students aged 4-19 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Responsibilities:
- Support children and young people with SEMH needs, challenges including trauma, anxiety, OCD, and behavioural issues.
- Identify risks and needs, escalating where necessary.
- Build strong relationships, be a consistent role model and empathetic towards students.
- Provide training, support and CPD to ensure safeguarding of all students.
Requirements:
- Recent Psychology Graduate or relevant field.
- Open-minded, resilient and passionate about helping children achieve their full potential.
- Able to build confidence, motivation and robust relationships with students.
- Caring, compassionate and good listener with awareness of mental health.
Salary: £90-110 per day, Monday to Friday, term time only.
Training: Excellent on-site training, support and CPD provided to ensure safeguarding of all students.
Note: Must have the right to work in the UK. No Visa sponsorship available. Estimated salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum (pro-rata).
