Youth Wellbeing Assistant
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Youth Wellbeing Assistant to provide emotional and academic support to young people at a specialist school near Woking.
Main Responsibilities- Identify and address the Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs of students, working closely with teaching staff and other professionals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with students, encouraging positive attitudes and behaviours.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive learning environment that promotes student success.
- Must have a good understanding of mental health principles and practices.
- Previous experience working with SEN children and/or adults is highly desirable.
- Candidates with relevant qualifications in Psychology, Criminology, or Counselling are welcome to apply.
- Term-time only, Monday to Friday, 8.30am-4pm.
- The estimated annual salary for this position is £75,500 - £95,300.
