About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at The Bamburgh Castle Inn. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food service and ensuring the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to the highest standards, using fresh and seasonal ingredients.
  • Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Assist with menu planning and development, ensuring that dishes are appealing and meet customer expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of food stock, waste, and inventory, ensuring that the kitchen is operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve excellent customer satisfaction and maintain a positive reputation for the inn.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in food preparation and presentation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
