We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead the development of our Facilities and Workspace Management service and drive the implementation of our Facilities Strategy. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will collaborate with council services to create and execute Service Asset Management Plans, ensuring our assets meet the evolving needs of our communities.

This role demands a successful team leader with a strong foundation in facilities management. You will champion best practice, leveraging your experience in delivering successful outcomes across diverse portfolios. Your expertise in leading complex estate FM contract mobilisations and 'steady state' operations across large, geographically dispersed estates will be invaluable. With a passion for customers, leadership, and property, you will join our department at an exciting time in its transformation programme.

We are looking for individuals who are professionally qualified and accredited (RICS, IWFM or equivalent). You will have a proven track record in delivering transformation, utilising your leadership skills to foster trust and collaboration, and bringing rigour to our programmes. Your drive and energy will ensure that change is sustainable and beneficial to our partners, communities, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the Facilities and Workspace Management service strategy
