Key Responsibilities- Manage site supervision, sub-contractors, supply chain, and the workforce to ensure efficient project delivery.
- Oversee the programme, monitoring and ensuring labour, plant, and materials requirements are met.
- Develop and implement safe systems of work, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, safety legislation, and environmental issues.
- Build and develop the team to deliver all aspects of the project requirements.
- Manage industrial relations issues and ensure a positive working environment.
- Ensure quality of the works to meet client satisfaction.
- Successful experience as a General Foreman or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of company policy and procedures, safety legislation, and environmental issues.
- Demonstrate extensive experience in managing major civil engineering activities and temporary works.
- Excellent people management skills and experience in team building.
- Excellent communication skills, including communication with external stakeholders.
- Compliant with Microsoft Office, ACD, BIM 360 Field, and BAM Nuttall software.
- Attendance of SMSTS, Site Briefing Presenters course, Annual Management of Health & Safety, and Your Safety Is My Safety.
- NVQ Level 6 in Construction Management and NEC course.
