Logistics Manager Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join our team at KR Construction Group, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery of our projects and contribute to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the movement of people, goods, and equipment throughout the site to ensure organisational effectiveness, efficiency, and safety.
  • Coordinate associated trade contractors, including logistics and works activities, ensuring consideration for the neighbouring and local community.
  • Attend daily briefings for the coordination of trade contractors and sub-contractors.
  • Create a schedule of logistics meetings and ensure logistics are represented at site meetings.
  • Ensure components and equipment are delivered to site in line with the construction programme, taking into account any changes on site.
  • Specify and manage plant and equipment.
  • Maintain an asset register of equipment, Mewps, and lifting equipment.
Requirements
  • A proven track record of delivery within a construction management or logistics function, leading to performance improvement.
  • Personal commitment to promoting a sustainable approach to logistic procurement and supply chain development.
  • Capacity to deal with complex logistics issues and implement logistics and supply chain vision, strategy, and priorities.
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification.
