Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teacher

Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN Teacher to join our committed team at Aspire People.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students with SEMH, Autism, and trauma-related challenges.
* Foster a supportive and nurturing learning environment that promotes the emotional well-being and academic progress of each student.
* Collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists, and other support staff to provide holistic support for students.
* Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) and behavioural management strategies.
* Maintain clear communication with parents, carers, and external professionals to support each child's learning journey.
* Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching methods and resources as required.

Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) / ECTS are welcome.
* MUST have experience working with children who have SEMH, Autism, and trauma-related needs is highly desirable.
* ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are welcome to apply and will receive comprehensive support.
* A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
* Excellent communication, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN.
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour with a calm and positive approach.
* Willingness to undertake training related to personal care and specific SEN requirements.
