We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer/Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Macstaff. As a key member of our Building Services team, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing high-quality mechanical building services systems for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and engineers to understand project requirements and develop innovative solutions.
- Perform load calculations, duct sizing, and equipment selection to ensure optimal system performance.
- Coordinate with other trades to deliver high-quality results.
- Review external design solutions and conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and building codes.
- Provide technical support to the project team and coordinate with clients, architects, and project teams.
- Experience working in the Building Services Sector as a Mechanical Design Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, or Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer.
- Proficient in CAD/Revit and HVAC software.
- Strong knowledge of regulations and building codes.
- Attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
