About the Role

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an exceptional Community Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team of dedicated professionals. Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing medical leadership for an experienced multi-disciplinary mental health team delivering assessment and treatment for patients with both functional and organic illness. Key responsibilities will include developing links with the wider MDT and with colleagues in primary care, as well as ensuring seamless care coordination with consultant colleagues within the acute care system and liaison service.

Requirements

  • Must have S12/ AC approved and CCT in relevant specialty.
  • Possession of MD or PhD is desirable.
  • Experience of working in a community-facing team is essential.
  • Desirable experience includes research and service development, clinical training and experience in delivery of psychotherapy modalities.
