Job Overview
The EPR Training Delivery Specialist is a pivotal role within the Electronic Patient Record Programme, working as part of a team to deliver high-quality training and education to staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering training programmes, ensuring that staff have the necessary skills to implement EPR systems effectively.
Main Duties
- Deliver high-quality training to staff on EPR systems in a coordinated and professional manner.
- Design and develop training programmes to meet the needs of staff, including the development of curriculum delivery and the implementation of IT educational developments.
- Ensure that new learning opportunities and resources are integrated into educational delivery plans and communicate complex curriculum information to staff in a clear and concise manner.
- Utilise influencing, tact and diplomacy skills to overcome conflicting pressures and barriers to effective training delivery.
- Deal effectively with trainees who are disruptive, negative or demotivated through training management skills.

Detailed Job Description and Main Responsibilities
- Leading on the preparation of learning environments, including layout, setting up equipment and learning aids.
- Coaching new staff on all systems in preparation for training delivery.
- Designing training databases to reflect live environments conducive to training.
- Developing training courses to accommodate differing skill levels and learning styles.
- Setting up and upgrading user accounts after training delivery, conforming to correct levels of role-based access.
