About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Accelero. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a critical role in contributing to the codebase for our website and other products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software for various projects.
  • Ensure the completion and delivery of working software that is supportable, extensible, and strategic.
  • Provide technical expertise for project speculation and estimation.
  • Design, develop, deliver, and support high-quality software that adheres to commonly adopted security and accessibility standards.
  • Write and maintain software for both back-end and front-end applications.
  • Develop and support databases, tables, views, indexes, etc.
  • Support software releases.
  • Work according to Agile principles and participate in various Agile ceremonies.
  • Enhance your expertise and value to the business through a personalized training program.
  • Advocate for best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with testers, project managers, and business analysts.
  • Provide technical support, including troubleshooting, bug fixing, and responding to escalated inquiries.
  • Offer enhanced application monitoring during high-profile events.
  • Stay informed about the latest technologies and methodologies, particularly in.NET, Azure, and Optimizely.
About You

We are looking for a genuine passion for software engineering, a delivery-focused mindset, keen attention to detail, and a passion for high-quality code. You should be a good team player who proactively supports colleagues of various skill levels, with a strong ability to isolate and solve complex technical problems.

You should be an effective communicator who contributes ideas and views proactively, with the ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. A desire to grow, take on more responsibilities, and mentor others is also essential.

    • Familiarity with SOLID principles, security, and accessibility best practices
