We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our warehouse operations as Regional Head of Warehousing. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality service to our customers through solid control of the warehouse operations at our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain High Standards: Ensure that our warehouse operations meet the highest standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security, while maintaining BRC AA Accreditation.
- Optimize Operations: Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective warehouse operations.
- Monitor Performance: Ensure that accurate and timely information is collated for department KPIs, and manage operational and contractual KPIs.
- Proactive Planning: Ensure that the warehouse is proactive in forward planning to effectively control daily and weekly labor and equipment.
- Food Safety and Security: Ensure that the warehouse adheres to food hygiene policies and adheres to the site HACCP plan.
- Investigate and Implement: Conduct accident and near-miss investigations, and investigate and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
- Customer Representation: Represent the business in customer review meetings.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives identified for the warehouse.
- Financial Management: Review warehouse expenditure against budget to justify areas of overspend and opportunities for improvement.
We are seeking a dynamic and conscientious individual with a strong focus on delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will possess good organizational skills and lead by example, demonstrating the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the business unit.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of in-depth experience in all aspects of warehousing, proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and experience with WMS systems and automated warehousing management. A H.A.C.C.P Level 2 certification or higher is also necessary.
