Regional Office Head

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our private client investment management teams across our 10 UK regional offices. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a business plan that aligns with our corporate strategy and ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a business plan for private client investment management teams in allocated regions, in conjunction with the CEO.
- Agree individual annual targets and objectives with each investment management team, monitoring performance and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with QCFP to ensure connectivity and alignment between Investment Managers and Financial Planners.
- Oversee training and competence for investment management teams, in conjunction with Heads of Offices.
- Ensure provision of information and administrative services to investment management teams, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor investment performance of portfolios managed by investment management teams, ensuring compliance with client objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Authorise variations from standard fee charging schedules, in accordance with company procedures.
- Liaise with CEO, Sales and Marketing to develop and implement new business opportunities, increasing funds under management.
- Attend Executive Committee, liaising with other committee members to achieve committee objectives.
- Visit UK regional offices regularly, chairing Quarterly Heads of Office meetings and coordinating presenters.
- Ensure regional teams operate in compliance with relevant legislation, rules, codes of conduct, and in-house policies and procedures.
- Ensure team is managed within agreed budget, regularly reviewing resourcing requirements and authorising expenditure.
- Ensure Heads of Office recruit competent and relevant employees, in accordance with company recruitment policy.
- Ensure employees receive appropriate training, coaching, supervision, and monitoring to meet company standards and achieve personal objectives.
- Regularly review employee performance, giving clear objectives and requirements, and ensuring prompt and fair performance management or disciplinary action, in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for annual compensation review for regional IM and support staff teams.
- Ensure all employees are treated fairly and not discriminated against.
- Ensure confidentiality and protection of data for all staff members.
- Ensure welfare of staff, in accordance with company health and safety policies.
We are looking for a professional with a strong track record of leadership and management experience, who can demonstrate a deep understanding of the wealth management industry and its regulatory requirements. You will be a strategic thinker, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build and lead high-performing teams.
