We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Setter Operator to join our team at Kristek Precision Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating milling machine tools to meet customer standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setting and operating CNC Milling machines using Siemens and Fanuc controls
  • Following manufacturing quality plans, improving and developing as required
  • Ensuring machines are operating efficiently
  • Inspecting finished products for visual quality and drawing specification
  • Using various measuring equipment to inspect components
  • Collaborating with the engineering team to improve processes
  • Populating route cards and SFDC system to record manufacturing information
  • Communicating well with other team members
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
  • Working safely and reporting any Health and Safety issues
Requirements and Skills:
  • Experienced and skilled with setting and operating CNC Milling machines
  • Able to produce products in a range of materials, mostly metal
  • Adhering to quality standards
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings to a good standard
  • Good understanding of manufacturing techniques
  • Able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Computer literate
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Positive and proactive approach to Continuous Improvement
  • Familiar with either Siemens or Fanuc Controls would be helpful but not essential
Working Hours and Remuneration:

Double day shifts with an average 15% shift allowance (Two week rota)

39 hours per week

Monday to Friday (30 minutes paid break)

Salary includes shift premium: £33,000 - £40,000 depending on skills and experience
