Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

VIQU Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team in York. As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems, including MCCs, PLCs, Switchgear, and Drives & Controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement electrical systems using various hardware components.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings and specifications.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers.
  • Oversee and quality check drawings of engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with IEC BS EN 61439-1, Low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies.

Requirements:

  • British citizenship.
  • Strong understanding of designing electrical panels containing PLC's and LV distribution systems.
  • Proven experience of AutoCAD Electrical, Microsoft office products.
  • Ability to develop technical solutions to meet customer and project expectations.
