Electrical Engineer Opportunity at VIQU

VIPU has partnered with a leading organisation in digital transformations and operational technology to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their world-class team.

The successful candidate will be based in York and will be responsible for designing hardware systems using various hardware components, with a focus on MCCs, PLCs, Switchgear, and Drives & Controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement electrical panels containing PLCs and LV distribution systems.
  • Develop containment systems and electrical cabling.
  • Work with production to see the design through to completion.
  • Mentor and develop an engineering team.
  • Oversee and quality check drawings of engineers.
  • Ensure compliance with IEC BS EN, Low-voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies.
