About the Role

Calisen Metering is expanding its range of activities in line with its mission to deliver Smarter Energy for All.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Executive to drive sales in the solar PV sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a passion for renewable energy, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company sales targets in the renewables sector.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solar solutions.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and markets within the solar PV sector, including SME, commercial, and industrial clients.
  • Proposal Generation: Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients, ensuring accuracy and alignment with their requirements.
  • Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Track sales activities, maintain accurate records, and provide regular reports on sales performance, including forecasts and pipeline updates to sales director.
  • CRM: Input, update, and manage sales projects on SalesForce CRM.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including design, project, and marketing teams, to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Previous commercial solar sales experience is desirable.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Effective time manager.
  • Highly organized and methodical.
  • Positive 'can-do' attitude.
  • Possess a 'professional edge' when dealing with clients.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Good written and telephone manner.
  • Full UK driving license.
