As an Insurance Account Manager, you will be responsible for servicing an existing book of Commercial and Corporate clients, as well as helping to bring in new ones.
The successful candidate will be comfortable handling premiums ranging from £10k to £100k, with complex risks. You will be a driven, hardworking, and business-focused individual who prioritizes client satisfaction and helps the team achieve high renewal retention and growth rates.
The role involves:
- Renewal Process Management: Control the renewal process for clients, gathering information and communicating effectively.
- Business Development: Maintain and grow your book of business by identifying and securing new business leads.
- Renewal Terms Negotiation: Discuss renewal terms with customers, seeking alternatives and negotiating with brokers to secure competitive terms.
- Client Visits: Visit clients as necessary, utilizing excellent interpersonal skills to build strong relationships.
- Account Queries and Credit Control: Assess and resolve account queries and credit control matters efficiently, escalating concerns to the relevant team.
- New Business Opportunities: Identify and act upon new-business opportunities, using sound judgment to recommend them if appropriate.
