Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, the largest health organisation in Wales, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Consultant to join their team. This full-time locum position will be based at either Wrexham Maelor Hospital or Ysbyty Glan Clwyd, with cross-site working required.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide a variety of virtual and face-to-face Senior Medical cover as part of a hub and spoke model, supporting Ysbyty Gwynedd locality. The post requires experience and training in acute and general dermatology, and skin oncology, as well as excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues in an MDT setting.

As a key member of the dermatology department, you will have the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and expertise while contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care. You will also be expected to work within the organisation's performance framework and targets.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • GMC License to practice
  • Name on Specialist Register for Dermatology OR within six months of obtaining a CCT at the time of the interview
