Body Repair Technician Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for repairing or replacing damaged bodywork panels of vehicles in accordance with received instructions or job card details.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Dismantle and repair damaged vehicles by either repairing the damaged panels or replacing those that are beyond repair. This may involve working on the chassis and framework as well.
  • Operate all necessary equipment, including jigs, fixtures, and welding tools, following instructions and adhering to prescribed safety standards.
  • Follow the manufacturer's literature and modification bulletins when applicable to ensure proper repair and replacement of chassis and panel work.
  • Attend relevant training courses as necessary to stay updated on new techniques and advancements in the field.
  • Handle all vehicles with utmost care and attention, ensuring that customer satisfaction and care are always maintained.
Requirements:
  • To be ATA preferred or NVQ3 qualified.
