Theatre Practitioner - Recovery

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Recovery Theatre Practitioner to join our Theatre department at The Wellington Hospital, a leading private hospital in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care after surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Prepare, use, and maintain recovery room equipment, including monitoring devices and oxygen supplies.
  • Follow strict infection control protocols to maintain a sterile and safe environment in the recovery area.
  • Educate patients and their families on post-operative care instructions before discharge.

Requirements

  • 6+ months Theatre recovery experience
  • Current HCPC/NMC Registration
