We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our Neuro Theatres team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated individual to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures. As a Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the operating theatre, maintaining a safe and efficient environment, and providing excellent patient care.
Main Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care to patients undergoing neurosurgical procedures
- Ensure the smooth running of the operating theatre, maintaining a safe and efficient environment
- Participate in the teaching and supervision of junior staff and student learners
- Adhere to NMC Code of Professional Conduct and standards for registration at all times
- Report adverse incidents and assist in investigations as necessary
- Maintain up-to-date and comprehensive records of care in accordance with NMC/HCPC, legal and Trust requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN1) with active NMC Registration at time of starting appointment
- Full understanding of the NMC / HCPC code of professional conduct
- Team building and working skills – able to lead a team to achieve results
