About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Dermatologist to join our team at HCRG Care Group. As a Consultant Dermatologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with a range of dermatological conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with colleagues to provide a consultant-led service with the highest standard of care
- Provide high-quality care to all patients attending the Dermatology Service
- Keep patients (and/or their carers if appropriate) informed about their condition and involve them in the decision-making of their treatment
- Maintain professional standards and obligations as set out from time to time by the General Medical Council (GMC) and comply with the GMC's guidance on Good Medical Practice as amended or substituted from time to time.
- Supporting Professional Activities in accordance with the HCRG Care Group framework, with at least a minimum of SPAs included in the core 10PA timetable. Additional SPA or DCC time may be commissioned in line with the skills of the successful candidate and changing requirements of the service.
- Offer support and leadership to junior medical colleagues, nursing colleagues, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team
- Work with the multi-professional team to develop care pathways and clinical guidelines
- Consulting with patients and determining skin ailments, prescribing medication, undertaking skin therapy treatment, performing skin surgery.
- Ensure compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will motivate colleagues, champion service user safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement.
