Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Communications Officer to join our team at Digital Health and Care Wales. As a key member of our professional team, you will develop campaigns and materials to promote our work and engage with diverse stakeholders.

This is a fixed-term/secondment position for 12 months to cover maternity leave. If you are interested in applying for the secondment position, please obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and distributing press releases through liaison with internal and external stakeholders to promote Digital Health and Care Wales.

Working closely with our communications team, you will have knowledge of traditional communications channels, social and digital media, and engagement. You will be adept at researching new channels, working under pressure, and an excellent writer.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
