Job Title: Senior Manager of Reward

Carnival UK, a leading cruise operator, is seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Reward to join our team in Southampton. In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of the cruise industry and contribute to our mission of providing unforgettable experiences for our guests.

The Role

The Senior Manager of Reward will play a crucial role in developing and implementing reward strategies and programs that attract, retain, and motivate a talented and multi-cultural workforce across Carnival UK. Reporting to the Director of Performance, Talent and Reward, this role will work closely with key stakeholders to ensure that our reward initiatives align with business objectives and support a high-performance culture.

  • Lead in the design, implementation, and management of competitive compensation structures that support our organizational design principles and attract and retain talented people while ensuring internal equity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Produce high-quality analytics and scenarios that support the budgeting and forecasting process to enable business leaders to make informed decisions.
  • Coordinate the company's annual performance and reward cycle.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of our incentive plans and proactively make recommendations regarding adjustments or improvements.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to benchmark Carnival UK's reward offerings against industry standards and best practices.
  • Provide expertise and guidance on reward-related matters, including job evaluation, salary benchmarking, incentive plan design, and regulatory compliance.
  • Lead and develop 2x direct reports.
About You

Fresh ideas and different perspectives are what excite us most and help us to succeed. Alongside bringing these to the role, you'll also need:

  • Experience in Reward, with detailed HR policy knowledge.
  • Strong analytical skills for producing accurate management information and conducting cost-benefit analysis.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with tact, communicate technical details clearly, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Proficient in implementing efficient systems and processes, working under tight deadlines, and collaborating effectively within teams and with functional stakeholders.
Why Join Us?

We recognize the value in having people with a variety of backgrounds, experience, and skills in our business. That means the role requirements here should be seen as a guide, not a checklist. If you have more, less, or different experiences, but really relevant skills, we'd love to hear from you.

We work flexibly and will help you to find a healthy balance of remote working and time in our fantastic Southampton office, collaborating, taking part in events, and getting to know people that makes working with us so rewarding. We welcome the opportunity to discuss reduced hours and job share arrangements.

We're a holiday company, so we know there's more to life than work. Our comprehensive range of benefits are designed to help your personal and financial health and wellbeing.

  • A friendly welcome with help settling in.
  • Home and office-based hybrid working, working with 3 days per week in the office.
  • Regular office events, including live entertainment, lifestyle events, and charity partner fundraisers.
