Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mental Health Crisis Worker. The successful candidate will work in Glasgow, responding to individuals in distress, providing emotional support and guidance.

The salary for this position is approximately £25,000-£30,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide immediate response to individuals in crisis, offering emotional support and coping strategies
  • Respond to referrals, conducting initial triage conversations and risk assessments
  • Help individuals make informed decisions, provide signposting where necessary

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in mental health-related field or relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage challenging situations effectively
