About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity to kickstart a career in technology with Roq's Academy, a 15-month training programme that includes 3 months of intensive training and 12 months on client projects. As an Academy Consultant, you will learn the skills and experience to become a fully-fledged Quality Engineer, including the ability to code and utilize multiple software testing tools.

You will be mentored by our industry-leading Quality Engineering experts and supported by a dedicated Career Support Manager and extensive training opportunities. The Roq Academy is a fully funded training programme with a competitive salary, allowing you to grow as a Quality Engineering professional without financial burden.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce test data under guidance
  • Create and maintain detailed test cases
  • Implement automated testing
  • Execute test cases in alignment with the agreed test schedule
  • Capture the test results/outcomes
  • Highlight testing-related issues and risks to appropriate stakeholders
  • Raise defects, including capturing evidence and diagnostic information
  • Work as part of a test team to deliver quality
  • Utilise a consultant skillset via stakeholder management and commercial awareness
