Polishing Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Polishing Engineer to improve the appearance and surface finish of components in our Chorley manufacturing facility. The role involves hands-on work using various manual machines to remove defects.

About the Role:

As a Polishing Engineer, you will polish brass, aluminium, and stainless-steel components to achieve clean finishes.

You will operate manual polishing machines and spindles, as well as a tube centreless machine, to attain suitable surface finishes.

Liaise with the machine shop manager to ensure timely job completion and maintain high-quality standards.

Perform regular cleaning tasks on the work area and equipment, and remove dents and scratches as required.

What We Offer:

£27,500 per annum, depending on experience, and a great working environment with progression opportunities.
