About the Role

As a Director of Cancer Care Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of cancer services across our two sites, including radiotherapy, chemotherapy, and palliative care. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement new strategies and initiatives that improve patient outcomes and experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing large teams of healthcare professionals, including radiographers, physicists, and medical staff.
  • Developing and implementing cancer service strategies, including radiotherapy and chemotherapy services.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve excellence in patient care and safety.
  • Managing budgets and resources effectively, ensuring efficient use of equipment and personnel.

Requirements include:

  • Extensive experience in cancer service management, with a strong understanding of key performance targets and clinical governance requirements.
  • Postgraduate management qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience of strategic planning and change management.

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
