Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated teacher to join our team as a Class Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a class team, developing and enhancing their expertise in a special school setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a class team to deliver high-quality education to learners with severe, profound, and multiple learning difficulties, Autistic spectrum conditions, and sensory/multi-sensory impairments.
  • Develop and implement engaging and relevant curricula to meet the needs of learners.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, including learners, parents, and colleagues.

Requirements

  • Excellent teaching skills and experience of leading and managing a class team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Experience of working as part of a multi-professional team.
