Sanitation Team Lead

Kandhu Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Sanitation Team Lead to oversee the cleanliness operations within our European Food Business.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading or supervising a team in the food industry, with a strong understanding of hygiene policies and procedures. They must be able to take on a degree of responsibility within the business and frequently operate as one of the senior members of staff on site.
This role involves providing support to ensure the Hygiene department runs effectively and efficiently. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the Hygiene team and following cleaning procedures to prevent unnecessary waste and ensure all protective equipment is properly used.
- Planning and managing deep cleaning schedules, ensuring they are completed and recorded.
- Complying with COSHH, health and safety instructions and regulations.
- Training new members of staff on cleaning methods and chemical awareness.
We offer a competitive salary of £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus 25 days' holiday.
