We are seeking an accomplished Children's Residential Service Director to oversee our 4-bed children's residential service in Derby, providing expert care and support to young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

Main Duties:
  1. Overseeing daily operations, guaranteeing compliance with Ofsted standards and regulations.
  2. Leading, mentoring, and developing a dedicated team to deliver exceptional care and support services.
  3. Designing and implementing individualised care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures.
  4. Strategic budget management and effective resource allocation.
  5. Nurturing partnerships with external agencies, families, and local authorities.
  6. Managing on-call responsibilities outside of regular working hours.
Essential Qualifications:
  • A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People's Services) is compulsory.
  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a children's residential setting, demonstrating Ofsted compliance.
  • Superior leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Proficient knowledge of current legislation and best practices in children's residential care.
  • A valid full UK driving licence is required.
