Customer Relationship Specialist

Escape Recruitment Services Commercial Division is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Developer to join their Sales team. Based in West Lothian, this site-based sales role offers the opportunity to work hybrid, providing account management responsibilities for a portfolio of key customers.
You will be responsible for providing product information, availability and pricing to customers, as well as building strong relationships to identify sales opportunities and increase customer spend. The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a similar account management &/or sales role, including account planning and development.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of sales success, with exceptional communication skills to build relationships remotely over the phone and face to face with customers and internal teams.
The estimated salary for this role is £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement account management strategies to drive sales growth and improve customer relationships
- Provide accurate and timely product information, availability and pricing to customers
- Build strong relationships with customers, gaining a clear understanding of their business needs and future forecasting
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand business sales strategy and identify opportunities to improve customer relationships
- Manage sales quotations and ensure prompt follow-up
- Deliver exceptional customer service, resolving any issues or concerns promptly
- Negotiate with internal teams to secure product availability and pricing
- Plan and conduct regular customer review meetings to monitor sales performance and identify areas for improvement
- Be the primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales process, from initial enquiry to delivery
- Meet or exceed sales targets and KPI's, driving revenue growth and improving customer satisfaction
- Identify opportunities for new business development, including scoping out markets and contacting new customers
- Monitor competition activities and pricing to inform business commercial decisions and strategy
