About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domiciliary Care Assistant to join our team at Richmond Village. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their best lives.
About You:
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on the lives of our residents. You will have a strong understanding of the importance of dignity, respect, and person-centered care. A Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting residents with personal care duties, such as bathing, dressing, and continence care, in their own homes within the village.
- Supporting at mealtimes, serving meals in their apartments or within the care home, and promoting mental and physical activity through hobbies and interests.
- Answering emergency calls when the care alert system is activated and working with the Domiciliary Care Manager and external professionals as needed.
- Admin duties, including keeping accurate records and maintaining full documentation at all times.
