About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Coordinator to join our team at Egis Structures et Environnement. As a BIM Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the engineering team, contributing to the growth of our BIM capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Engineering: Responsible for all design, engineering, documentation, administration, and compliance with project constraints for Façade and other disciplines.
  • BIM Coordination: Daily management of BIM project data sets/workflows and project set-up, ensuring seamless collaboration among team members.
  • Technical Management: Oversight of project BIM data sets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards.
  • Communication: Liaise with the Design Systems team to communicate changes in procedure and standards to project teams.
  • Content Management: Manage and maintain project content, sourcing additional content as needed for project teams.
  • BIM Project Delivery: Assist in technically delivering BIM projects, focusing on CAD and BIM coordination.
  • Construction Document Accuracy: Ensure construction document accuracy based on discipline BIM modeling.
  • BIM Execution Plan: Adhere to the BIM Execution Plan and BIM project workflow criteria.
  • BIM Content Standards: Follow BIM content standards and development procedures.
  • Model Review and Documentation: Create federated models, conduct clash-detection/resolution, and lead BIM coordination meetings.
  • Software Support: Provide technical support for BIM-enabling software applications to the project team.
  • Project Prioritization: Prioritize work to meet project deadlines.
  • Quality Assurance: Review jobs completed by modelers and ensure full compliance with BIM/CAD standards.
  • Resource Management: Evaluate project deliverable time and resources with the project lead.
Requirements
  • Normally a 5 years plus experience with a Diploma/ Degree in Engineering.
  • Expertise in using Revit & Navisworks.
  • Ability to present innovative systems of work to clients/other consultants.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
