Marketing Graduate Opportunity at Oxford Gene Technology

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Graduate to join our team at Oxford Gene Technology. As a Marketing Graduate, you will play a key role in supporting the development and execution of our marketing strategies, working closely with our cross-functional teams to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the creation of compelling and scientifically accurate content for various channels, including webpages, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and promotional materials.
  • Support the execution of digital marketing campaigns, including managing email marketing, social media accounts, updating the company website, and contributing to SEO and PPC strategies.
  • Conduct research on market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using analytics tools to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure all marketing activities are aligned with OGT's brand guidelines and contribute to maintaining a consistent and professional brand image.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and accurate content tailored to various audiences.
  • Ability to analyse data/metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and inform future strategies.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new projects independently.
  • A keen eye for detail, ensuring that all marketing materials are of the highest quality and free of errors.
  • Hands-on experience with digital marketing campaigns, including social media management, SEO, PPC, and email marketing.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, CRM databases, content management systems (CMS), and email marketing software.
  • Basic graphic design skills using tools like Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) would be an advantage.
