Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Programme Controls Specialist to join our Defence team in London and the south of England. As a key member of our programme controls function, you will be responsible for delivering project controls expertise across Defence projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong planning and scheduling skills to lead the programme controls function for a programme, monitoring accuracy and consistency of plans, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting.

The successful candidate will have experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, including schedule development, control, and analysis. Proficiency with PC operating systems and multiple discipline-specific software applications such as Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office Applications is also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review new project proposals/remits to ensure realistic, resourceable plans are developed for delivery of the programme.
  • Identify resourcing requirements to support the programme and liaise with planning functions to resolve resourcing issues.
  • Provide an efficient day-to-day service to Programme and Project Managers in reporting on plans, costs, safety, environment and programme performance.
