Connect2SocialWork is seeking a skilled Registered Manager to oversee the daily operations of a 10-bed children's home in Birmingham.

Job Overview:
  • This interim role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with disabilities, aged 14-18.

The ideal candidate will possess a QCF Level 3 in Children and Families, with a willingness to work towards QCF Level 5. A management qualification and relevant experience in an Ofsted-regulated residential home are essential.

We require a minimum of two years' experience as a senior worker or deputy manager, involving staff management, supervision, and operational practice. The successful applicant will also have knowledge of social work/childcare legislation, including child protection and safer care, as well as current policy trends in disability, community care, and childcare.

Salary and Benefits:
  • This position comes with a competitive salary of up to £450 per day (DOE), reflecting the level of responsibility and expertise required.
  • A DBS check and satisfactory references are mandatory for this role.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of staff members to ensure high-quality care and support for residents.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to promote the welfare and well-being of residents.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
