About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Clinical Team Secretary/ Administrator to join our mental health services team. As a key member of our community team, you will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to our multi-disciplinary team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and efficient administrative support to the team, including responding to enquiries and concerns from service users, family, and carers.
  • Deal with enquiries from GPs and other professionals, taking action where necessary and ensuring messages are communicated accurately to relevant personnel.
  • Support the team in managing caseloads of patients with organic and functional conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve high-quality patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Diploma/NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • ITQ Level 2 or equivalent.
  • Key skills in literacy and numeracy Level 2 or O Level / GCSE in Maths and English grade C or above.
  • Experience of participation in service and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Experience of training/supervising junior administrative staff.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of confidentiality and associated legal and policy requirements.
  • Working knowledge of medical/psychological terminology.
