We are seeking a clinician with expertise in respiratory health to join our dynamic team of medical educators at the University of Kent. As an Associate Lecturer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences for our undergraduate medical students.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver teaching materials in a variety of settings, from small tutorial groups to large lectures.
- Deliver learning opportunities across a range of modules or within a subject area.
- Participate in relevant assessment activity, including marking, standard setting processes, providing feedback to students, academic remediation, and resit assessments.
- Clinical registration with the GMC and current licence to practice.
- Advanced knowledge of the relevant subject area to effectively deliver teaching within the BM BS programme.
- Experience of successfully teaching healthcare students in a university or clinical environment to undergraduate degree or at postgraduate level.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- 43 days' leave per year (personal leave, bank holidays, and additional days allocated for the Christmas period, pro rata for part-time staff).
